Dr. Ashley Neiweem graduated Cum Laude at Butler University in 2012, receiving her Bachelor of Science in both Biological Sciences with High Honors, and Spanish, with a Minor in Chemistry. She received her Doctor of Medicine in 2016 from the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University, with a Masters in Health Care Administration. After her intern year at Amita Health in Evanston, Illinois, she went on to complete her residency at the Department of Ophthalmology at Indiana University School of Medicine in 2020, with her final year as Chief Resident. She has published many papers in academic journals during her residency, and was awarded the Merrill Grayson Leadership Award.
Dr. Neiweem is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is professionally associated with the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She specializes in a comprehensive array of eye surgery and procedures. Her lifelong professional goal is to provide excellent, evidence-based care to patients, believing everyone deserves good vision.
Dr. Neiweem loves the outdoors and exercise. She enjoys running, hiking, and traveling with her boyfriend. She enjoys caring for her houseplants and gardening. She also enjoys crochet and playing with her dog.
