Dr. Sanket Saurabh Shah attended Emory University in Atlanta, GA, becoming a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society in his junior year and proceeding to complete his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. He received a full tuition merit scholarship to attend the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and receive his Doctorate of Medicine in 2018. After completing his internship year in Chicago, he began his journey in Ophthalmology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Fate had other plans for him as he transferred to the University of Louisville in 2020 to complete his Ophthalmology training, where he was elected Chief Resident from 2021 through 2022. Dr. Shah is Board Eligible by the American Board of Ophthalmology and professionally associated with the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Louisville Academy of Ophthalmology, the Kentucky Medical Association and the Greater Louisville Medical Society. He specializes in Refractive Cataract Surgery, Laser Vision Correction (LASIK, PRK, PTK), Glaucoma Management and Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery, Eyelid Procedures, Botox injections and Dermal Fillers.
